:EDIT: Re-processed it, again. I'm obsessive, I know. :lol: I brought out the color a bit more, you may not notice it though. I'm still not entirely happy with it. I fear I'll never be happy with it! :shrug:

I saw this in my friend's journal and it's so easy to see what a magnificent photo you took. I'm in awe to see a lion this close and in such clarity. Your post-processing has paid off because I really like it. :)

Thank you! I didn't realize that it was in anyones journal. ;P I actually don't like tripods so I don't use them for any of my photos, and I don't sharpen any of my images, so what you're seeing clarity wise is how it came out of the camera. ;)

Thank you (again!)! I actually am undecided on how I feel about the processed version of the photo. Though I'm sure a lot of people feel that way about their photos! =P

This lion in particular is my inspiration for a lot of things, she's so beautiful and so intense!:heart:

It was featured in =WishmasterAlchemist's journal about a cat contest. :) Well, we are our own best critics, so I understand if you see parts of the photo that you'd rather improve or not that I can't see. She really is beautiful.

Oh, yes! My friend Dave held that contest! Now I remember. :aww:
Yeah, that's how everyone is with their own photos. =P
I know, she was so amazing, and so incredibly intense! :faint: She was really annoyed by all the people who were standing around me on the people side of the ditch. They were yelling and screaming and stuff, it was actually kind of annoying me. After awhile I couldn't take them irritating the lions and left to go look at the other animals because the lionesses were getting so agitated and that bothered me that people weren't considerate enough to the animals. :hmm:

:aww: I'm the same way about my photos, too.
I find it annoying as well when people are disrespectful of animals and their habitats. I would think that if people don't want to be bothered in that way, that they would treat others well (even animals), but I guess this is not true. At the zoo in my city, someone was attacked by a tiger, and as much as this sounds mean of me, I don't feel bad for that person. The barricade is so high and it has never happened before that it makes you wonder what the person did to agitate the animal...

Oh I know! The way she was looking at the crowd, it was almost bone chilling. :faint:

And I'm so sorry sweetie, I promise I will respond to your note sometime soon! I was on vacation and I was busy getting ready for vacation with doctors appointments (pretty pointless :roll:) before that, so now I'm hoping to get back to some people! I'll respond to it soon! I just didn't want to give you a response that didn't have my full attention, so I never had time for it! Now I'm hoping this weekend on Sunday or so I will. :heart:
